A large forest located north of Viridian City. This place is heaven-on-Earth to trainers that collect bug Pokemon. It's easy to get lost here, so trainers are advised to stay on the trail.

A large, rocky valley that slopes down from Route 2. Rock and Ground-type Pokemon can be found here.

A small city located in the northwestern corner of Kanto. The first Kanto League Gym resides here.

A very long route that heads towards Mt. Moon. Poison and Ground types can be found here.

A large mountain that is shrouded in mystery. It is said that a large meteor crashed into the mountain's summit ages ago, and brought new Pokemon and objects from space. A large, man-made cave cuts through the mountain and leads to Route 4. Lots of different-types of Pokemon live here.

A long route filled with ground type Pokemon. Two houses can be found on this route, each holding a karate buff, able to teach one of your Pokemon Mega Punch or Mega Kick in exchange for laborious duties.

A town famous for its mining and restaurant, but lacks a Pokemon Center or Mart. Also, a Pokemon Contest Hall can be found here.

A large trail that juts out the ground, and is completely made out of marble. Marble-colored Geodude and Onix have been found here.

The second of eight Kanto League gyms reside here. Also, a Bike Shop is set up here. Trainers with Bike Vouchers can receive a bicycle for free.

A large, golden bridge that leads from Cerulean City to the Cerulean Cape. Trainers are offered challenges from five trainers, and if you beat everyone single trainer in a row, you receive a golden nugget.

A large cape that extends to the north of Cerulean City. Bill, the man who invented the Pokemon PC, lives here.

A route that is south of Cerulean City. Flying, Bug, and a few electric type Pokemon can be found here.

A small forest that covers the route. Many different types of Pokemon live here. There is a house in the middle of the forest. An old lady lives there and allows wandering trainers to rest.

A small village that lay on the outskirts of Leaf Forest. There's nothing here but a Contest Hall for passing coordinators.

A small route that is filled with Psychic Pokemon during the day and Ghost Pokemon during the night.

A town that overlooks the ocean. A large stone peak in the shape of a beautiful maiden is located on the southern side of the town. There's a legend behind it and if you find the right person, you might find out what it is.

A trail that is relatively harmless during the day, but at night, the ghost Pokemon of the area come out and will attack any trainer who passes by.

One of the longest routes in Kanto, it leads straight to Vermilion City. Water and Grass type Pokemon can be found here in abundancy.

A large port city that holds the third Kanto Gym. It has a large port located on the southside of the city that holds luxury liners such as the St. Anne.

A short route that leads to the Cascadia Mountains. A few ice Pokemon live here.

The first mountain of a long chain of mountains that extend towards the Rock Tunnel. A summit town lies at the top, which happens to have a Contest Hall and Pokemon Center. Many Ice and Rock Pokemon can be found on Aurora Mountain.

A small town located at the summit of Aurora Mountain. A Contest Hall resides here.

A mesa that is covered in ice. Many ice Pokemon live here. The mesa descends down into Route 9.

A route that descends far under sea level. One of the darkest routes in Kanto, many Dark, Ghost, and Poison Pokemon have made this route their home. Fighting and Psychic Pokemon are recommended.

A mountain that is said to 'move', giving it its name. This mountain is crawling with Onix and Steelix, some too powerful for trainers to handle.

A chasm that shifts from the mountain's constant activity. Many Rock, Ground, and Steel types can be found here.

A route that ascends from the chasm and towards Umbo Mountain. Has Rock, Ground, and Steel Type Pokemon.

The oldest mountain to date in the Cascadia Mountain Range. There's nothing much here except for rock and ground type Pokemon, along with a small village located at the snowy summit of the mountain.

An ancient town that lies on the ancient top of Umbo Mountain. Not much here except the Seniorian Mart.

Sub-board: Senorian Mart

A mountain that is not inhabited by either man or Pokemon. The ground is unstable, and trainers are cautioned to take the canyon that stoops down to the west of the mountain.

A beautiful canyon made up of calcium carbonate. The vibrations from the Onix and Steelix under the ground are absorbed by this limestone, making it hard for trainers to know when something may be barrelling up from the ground under their feet.

A route that leads to Marvel Scale Mountain. A large lake resides here, so many water Pokemon can be found here.

The final stop in the Cascadia Mountain Range. The mountain glitters from the beautiful scales that dot the mountain from the Milotic that used to live in the lakes before they dried up. Prism Town is located near the summit.

A large town located at the summit of Marvel Scale Mountain. The roofing of the houses here are made of Marvel Scales, making the town shimmer with a rainbow aura.

A long route that descends from Marvel Scale Mountain and towards Rock Tunnel. Many flying Pokemon live here.

A large, winding cave that leads to Lavendar Town. Psychic, Dark, Electric, and Rock type Pokemon can be found here.

A small town located at the end of the Rock Tunnel. People from all over come to Lavendar Town to bury their Pokemon at the Pokemon Tower, a resting place for deceased Pokemon.

A long route that extends westward towards Saffron City. A few fire and psychic types can be found here.

Route 13 extends through this large, lush garden, with acres upon acres of berries. The garden is so large, that it extends from Route 13 to the outskirts of Saffron City.

The second largest city in the Kanto Region, next to Celadon. The Silph Corporation headquarters is located here, along with the Saffron City Gym and the Saffron City Fighting Dojo.

A small route that connects Saffron City and Celadon City. Many normal and grass types can be found here.

The largest city in Kanto. Celadon offers more than enough things to do during a visit here. It offers a Megamart, Pokemon Center, Contest Hall, Celadon City Gym, and the popular game corner.

A large bridge that expands over a large body of water. Made for those who have bikes, trainers can instantly travel from Celadon City to Fuchsia City. Trainers without bikes must take Route 15 and take a much longer route.

A route that cuts through a large wooded area. Very little light can penetrate the extreme thickness of the canopy, so dark and ghost Pokemon thrive here, along with Bug and Grass types.

A city that is extremely polluted. It once used to be a tourist attraction, but now it's an eyesore to the trainers and tourists that pass through it.

A five mile wide dam that holds in the waters of Alores Lake, the largest lake in the world. This dam leads to Route 16, and ultimately Porta Vista.

A small route that leads from Alores Lake to Fuchsia City. Not much here except flying Pokemon.

A large city that caresses the ocean. The city is planning to build a large resort on a coral reef. However, sailors and workers have been attacked lately by Tentacool.

A long route that is home to a few steel and dragon types. A large cave can be found here.

A small town that suffers attacks from wild Dodrio. Trainers are being hired to take care of the nuisance. Have electric Pokemon? Then this is the job for you.

A relatively small route that leads to Fuchsia City. Occasional poison and bug types can be found here.

The sixth gym of the Pokemon League is located here, along with the ever so popular Safari Zone. Many Pokemon can be found here, and collectors can increase their Pokemon collection by simply coming here. Trainers can make a decision to go to the south to Pearl Beach or to the east to Route 19.

A very long route that heads from Fuschia City towards Lavendar Town. Many grass, flying, and normal type Pokemon can be found here.

A large town that is home to a Contest Hall. Coordinators are highly revered here, so if you're one, you might get some public attention.

Sub-board: Zave Town Contest Hall

A large delta that is from the rivers of the Cascadia Mountains. Trainers must pass through here to get to Lavendar Town. The Cascadia Mountains can be seen to the north and the water is icy cold to the feet. Magikarp and Krabby can be found here.

A rocky region north of the delta. It is said that many King's Rocks can be found here. If a trainer comes to King's Point in search of King's Rocks, then they are advised to carry water Pokemon with them as the Onix that live here protect the Rocks.

A large prairie region east to the delta. Herds of Tauros, Miltank, and Mareep can be found roaming here.

Another relatively long route that leads northward. It caresses the ocean, so ocean-dwelling Pokemon can be found here.

A city that is filled with Slowpoke and Slowbro that have come in from the ocean. The Pokemon lie around on the streets since the city was built on a Slowbro mating ground. The Pokemon are allowed to live here, but the townspeople encourage trainers to catch them.

A long route that connects Ralik City to Lavendar Town. Ghost Pokemon that wandered from the Pokemon Tower in Lavendar Town can be found here, along with a few psychic and dark Pokemon that try to ward them off.

A large beach that caresses southern Kanto. Here lies a large port, along with Shellder that have been washed up onto shore.

Sub-board: Luna Dusk Port

The Pearl Beach Ferry stops here to stock up on supplies from the shipping dock. Trainers are allowed a two hour tour of the island, which is full of Scyther and Sneasel that have been in a feud for over a hundred years.

An archipelago that is dotted between the mainland and Cinnabar Island. A vacation hotspot, the town holds an Ultimate Princess Contest every summer for women who want to show off their looks. The winner receives free shopping for a day on the islands.

A large island that has two large towers situated on it. Also, a large valley is located here, where the villagers once lived, and the Royal Family. The island is pretty much deserted, and trainers are cautioned to stay away from the towers.

An island that is full of Pidgey and Pidgeotto. On a full moon, the Pidgey perform a ritual of flying high in the sky to get a chance to touch the moon.

An island with a small island located in the center. Every year, the town holds a Dunsparce catching contest, and the one who catches the most, wins, and receives 2000z and are allowed to keep one of the Dunsparce they captured as their prize.

An island that has a different species of Politoed. The Politoed can shoot lethal barbs of poison from their mouths at an enemy in their defense, and their bodies are colored blue instead of green.

A large island that is covered in jungle. A small town lies in the jungle, and has a training dojo for trainers who want to train their Pokemon before the final bound to Cinnabar Island.

One of the largest islands in the Kanto region. A large, volcano is situated on the northern side of the island. The volcano overlooks the large town on the island, which holds one of the Kanto League Gyms.

An island that lies north of Cinnabar Island in a chain of islands that lead to Pallet Town. Not much here except a Pokemon Mart in a small town.

An island in the shape of a crescent moon. The island is inhabited by many Teddiursa and a few Ursaring.

The largest island of the Kanto Region. The island offers a Pokemon Center, Mart, Contest Hall, and Diving Expedition for trainers wanting to capture a Cloyster.

Sub-boards: Pokemon Center, Pokemon Mart, Broadhaven Contest Hall, Diving Port

The final stop before the port south of Pallet Town. This island is full of women who favor fighting and rock type Pokemon. Trainers passing through are expected by the villagers to test their skills against the group of women. If a fight isn't what you're looking for, then hide that you're a Pokemon trainer.

A large road that leads from the western gate of Viridian City, all the way to Indigo Plateau. A trainer must head through a cave filled with high level Pokemon to test if they are able to get to the Plateau.
